The Porsche 911 is undoubtedly iconic, within and outside of the auto industry.
You’d be hard pressed to find another vehicle more people could easily identify if you randomly walked up to them and showed them a picture on the street.
Incredibly, the Porsche 911 hasn’t changed that much over time, but Donut Media recently put together a video highlighting its evolution over the past 50 years.
Beginning with a 1964 901 in Ivory White and ending with a 2016 991 GT3 RS, the video does a great job of showing the car’s technological advancements over time but also how it has stayed the same.
Specifically, the air-cooled engine is now water-cooled, but one important feature persists in the Porsche 911.
