Haynes 230 provides user with a material that has excellent strength at elevated temperatures. It also has a high resistance to carburizing and sulfidizing environments. Unless otherwise specified it is furnished in the solution annealed condition. It is most commonly used in bar frame heat treating baskets, muffles, heat treating fixtures, and waste incinerators.
